Lead the Growth of a Rapidly Expanding Healthcare Group

As our organisation continues to grow through strategic acquisitions, we are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to join our executive leadership team.

Reporting directly to the Director, this is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the operational performance of multiple medical practices, mentoring Practice Managers, driving operational excellence, and ensuring every clinic operates to the highest standard.

Based in Brisbane, this role will involve regular travel throughout Queensland.

About the Role

This is a hands-on operational leadership position for someone who genuinely understands general practice.

We are looking for an experienced leader who has successfully managed busy medical practices and understands every aspect of running a clinic. From Medicare billing and accreditation through to staffing, compliance, workflow management, patient experience and supporting GPs, you will bring practical knowledge that enables you to mentor Practice Managers and improve performance across the group.

Working closely with the Director, you will help implement strategic initiatives, support the integration of newly acquired practices, and ensure consistent operational excellence across all clinics.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and support Practice Managers across multiple clinics.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure practices deliver exceptional patient care and operate efficiently.
- Support the acquisition,



onboarding and integration of new medical centres.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with RACGP Standards, accreditation requirements and relevant legislation.
- Develop and implement best practice systems, processes and workflows.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses and administrative teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.
- Foster a positive, accountable and high-performing culture across the organisation.
- Provide regular operational updates and recommendations to the Director.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

- Extensive experience as a Practice Manager within General Practice (essential).
- A proven track record of successfully managing busy, high-performing medical practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare, billing, accreditation, compliance and all aspects of general practice operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop Practice Managers and clinic teams.
- Exceptional organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated experience implementing operational improvements and managing change.
- The ability to build strong relationships with doctors, nurses and administrative staff.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with the confidence to support multiple clinics.




- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Queensland.

Experience managing multiple practices or working in a regional leadership role will be highly regarded.

You have spent years working within general practice and know the challenges that clinics face every day. You are confident in supporting Practice Managers, identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing productive systems and building high-performing teams.

You enjoy mentoring others, solving problems, leading change and creating environments where both staff and patients have an outstanding experience.
