Doctors of Chiropractic Capalaba - Capalaba QLD

Doctors of Chiropractic Capalaba is seeking a dedicated and organised Chiropractic Assistant / Office Manager to join our healthcare team. This is a part-time position based in Capalaba, QLD 4157. In this role, you will be the backbone of our clinic operations, supporting our chiropractors whilst managing the administrative and organisational functions that keep our practice running smoothly. You will play a vital part in creating a welcoming environment for our patients whilst ensuring efficient clinic management and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

Greeting patients and managing front desk reception duties in a professional and friendly manner

Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, ensuring optimal clinic flow and resource allocation

Processing patient payments, handling invoicing and maintaining accurate financial records

Assisting chiropractors with patient care activities, including preparation of treatment rooms and patient positioning during procedures

Maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring compliance with privacy legislation and clinic policies

Managing clinic inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed

Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, both electronic and paper-based systems

Answering telephone enquiries and responding to patient communications professionally

Performing general administrative duties including filing, data entry and documentation

Supporting the implementation of clinic policies and contributing to a positive workplace culture

Assisting with marketing initiatives and patient retention programmes where applicable

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a healthcare setting, chiropractic clinic or medical office environment

Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

Proficiency in computer systems, appointment scheduling software and general office applications

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,



with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff

Customer service excellence with a genuine commitment to patient care and satisfaction

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations and patient confidentiality requirements

A willingness to learn and develop clinical skills to support chiropractors during patient treatments

Professional demeanour with a friendly and approachable attitude

Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work scheduled part-time hours consistently

Preferably, relevant qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Health Administration or similar qualification
