Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical faults on conveyors, chains, pumps, gearboxes and pneumatic system.Perform basic welding, maintenance, and repair work without supervisionCarry out fabrication, installation and modification work as requiredEnsure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirementsCarry out start-up and shutdown proceedingsCarry out major mechanical overhauls,



refurbishments & repairs to equipment Carry out precision fitting within fine precision tolerances relating to bearings, bushes and sleeves and other parts

About You

A Mechanical Fitting trade certificate or equivalentWorking in confined space/gas Forklift high risk licensePrevious maintenance experience in a production environmentUnderstanding and knowledge of MEX - desiredA good understanding of root cause analysisAbility to trouble shoot and work safely under pressureExperience using Lathes, mills, pedestal drills, conveyors, compressors and pumps
