Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week (Day Shift)
Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Freight Handler to join their team in Toowoomba. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or build their career in warehousing and logistics. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently
- Sorting and organising freight for distribution
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements
- Assisting with delivery runs when required
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- A current and valid Driver Licence
- Own reliable transport
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to perform manual handling and lift freight safely
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work well both independently and within a team
- A commitment to workplace safety
Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful applicants must be able to:
- Pass a National Police Check
- Pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
- Provide proof of work rights in Australia
