About Prince of Peace Kindergarten

At Prince of Peace Lutheran Kindergarten, we celebrate each child’s unique learning journey in a warm, nurturing environment. Our play-based program, guided by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, encourages learning through exploration, creativity, and meaningful experiences.

We support children’s holistic development by fostering confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills. Our caring team builds strong relationships with children and families, working in partnership to support each child’s growth and transitions.

About the Role

As an Educator at Prince of Peace Kindergarten, you will play an important role in supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, and development. Your responsibilities will include:

Actively supervising and engaging children in indoor and outdoor learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and wellbeing.

Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children feel supported to explore and develop new skills.

Implementing age‑appropriate programs aligned with the National Quality Framework, tailored to children’s interests, strengths, and developmental needs.

Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community.

Collaborating with the team to deliver high‑quality outcomes for children and families.

Assisting in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised learning environment, including light cleaning duties.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care





A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

A current Blue Card.

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A proven ability to build respectful and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting children’s holistic development.

A willingness to support and uphold the Christian ethos of the service.

Food handling experience (desirable but not essential).

Completion of an approved Child Protection Training course in line with Section 126A of the Education and Care Services National Law.
