Our consulting client is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst or Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their team working on a range of projects in a non-traditional role in the healthcare industry.

About the role

- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse healthcare data.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models to assess healthcare risk, cost projections, and profitability.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and management of actuarial reports, dashboards, and tools.
- Contribute to the development of pricing strategies for health insurance products and services.
- Participate in actuarial and financial audits.

About you





- AIAA or newly qualified FIAA.
- 2-5 years of actuarial experience with health insurance/healthcare experience essential.
- Excellent communication skills and able to work independently.
- Robust proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Interested in applying the actuarial skillset to non-traditional areas of actuarial including data analytics, and app development.
- Location – preference is for Sydney but open to other locations within Australia.
