Tidda Workforce is proud to partner with major infrastructure and transport projects across New South Wales. We are currently seeking experienced TIG Welders for an exciting opportunity with Sydney Trains based at the Homebush Rail Equipment Centre.
This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term assignment with a respected rail organisation, offering competitive rates and consistent full-time hours.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Location: Homebush Rail Equipment Centre, NSW
- Pay Rate: Up to $63.28 per hour + Super
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 Months
- Potential Extension: Yes, depending on project requirements
- Hours: 7:15am - 3:45pm
- RDO Every 4 Weeks
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- TIG welding of rail and equipment components
- Reading and interpreting welding specifications
- Fabrication and repair work as required
- Working within Sydney Trains safety and quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborating with workshop and maintenance teams
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven TIG Welding Experience
- Strong fabrication and welding background
- Ability to pass pre-employment requirements
- Current Rights to Work in Australia
- Ability to provide 2 employment references upon offer
- Police Check upon offer
- Valid identification for TfNSW onboarding requirements
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
