We are looking for a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our wonderful team on a casual basis. This position is for approximately 10-16 hours per week, availability on Friday's is a must, plus coverage for sick and annual leave as needed.
Our current opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and select Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Shifts may be rostered between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and assisting patients
- Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Processing payments
- Managing phone and email queries
- Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
- General administration duties as required
Qualifications & Attributes
- Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
- A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
- Approachable, reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication skills,
skilled presentation and positivecan-do attitude
- Previous experience in administrative/reception roles
- Experience using Best Practice is advantageous
- Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
- Authorised to work in Australia
