ABOUT THE ROLE
We're currently seeking an experienced Open Crane Operator (C0) for long‑term work in a busy precast manufacturing yard in Buchanan, NSW.
This is a hands‑on role requiring operation of multiple crane types combined with dogging, rigging, and general labouring duties. If you're reliable, safety‑focused, and looking for consistent work with a strong team - this is an excellent opportunity.
Location: Buchanan, NSW
Role: C0 Open Crane Operator
Employment Type: Casual (full‑time hours)
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm
Overtime: Saturdays as required
Pay Rate: $43.93 per hour casual + penalty rates
Start: ASAP
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating 80T Rough Terrain cranes
- Operating Franna cranes
- Operating overhead and gantry cranes
- Performing dogman and rigging duties
- Assisting with lifting precast panels and moulds
- Supporting production through general labouring
- Maintaining safe and efficient lifting practices

ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced, multi‑skilled crane operator who is confident across a range of machines and willing to support the team with hands‑on work.
REQUIREMENTS
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- CO - Open Crane Ticket (Essential)
- Dogman Ticket (Essential)
- Rigging Ticket (Essential)
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
- 2+ years of experience with your C0/Open Crane Ticket
- Willingness to assist with labouring duties when required
- Ability to pass pre‑employment medical & Drug/Alcohol screen
- Robust work ethic and team‑first attitude
