About the Role

The role will primarily involve C# and .NET application development, API integration, database-driven software solutions and the deployment of applications through contemporary cloud and container environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business requirements, functional specifications and existing application workflows.
- Develop, maintain and enhance software applications using C#, .

NET and related technologies.

- Design, develop and test APIs used to integrate Sonar applications with customer, ERP, CRM and third-party systems.
- Write maintainable and appropriately documented program code in accordance with technical specifications and development standards.
- Identify limitations and deficiencies in existing applications and recommend suitable software improvements.
- Test, debug and correct application errors to ensure systems perform reliably and according to specification.
- Assist in upgrading legacy .





NET applications and APIs to current frameworks and development standards.

- Develop and maintain database-driven functionality using SQL and relational database technologies.
- Develop and maintain automated build, testing and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines.
- Assist with the deployment and operation of applications in cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Monitor application performance, investigate runtime issues and implement software-level fixes.
- Develop internal utilities and automation tools using technologies such as Python, Go, PowerShell or Bash.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment instructions and operational procedures.
- Work with software architects, developers, project teams and support personnel throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least one year of relevant software development or closely related commercial experience.
- Practical experience developing applications or APIs using C# and .NET.

- Experience with REST APIs and system integration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and source-control platforms such as Bitbucket or Git.

Desirable Skills

- Experience modernising legacy .

NET applications.

- Experience developing software for logistics, workforce management, warehousing, healthcare or other operational environments.
- Knowledge of real-time data processing, GPS, mobile applications, reporting systems or ERP/CRM integration.
- Experience with Python, Go, PowerShell or Bash scripting.
- Understanding of application monitoring tools and cloud-based observability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
