At Halpin Wealth, growth isn't just about client numbers. It's about continually improving how we work, developing our people and creating better outcomes for our clients.
As our business continues to evolve, we're looking for great people who want to contribute ideas, challenge the status quo and help us keep getting better.
With a team of 15 advisers, supported by experienced paraplanners and client service professionals, we've become one of South Australia's leading financial planning businesses. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Paraplanner who wants to be part of the journey.
You'll have exposure to a huge variety of client situations, from helping younger clients build wealth to developing complex retirement strategies for long-term clients. No two advisers are exactly the same and neither are the clients they work with.
What You'll Be Doing
Working alongside our advisers, you'll play a key role in turning great strategy ideas into quality advice outcomes for clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and supporting documentation
- Strategy modelling and research
- Superannuation, retirement and investment analysis
- Personal insurance research and recommendations
- Working directly with advisers on complex client strategies
- Assisting with ongoing improvements to our advice processes and templates
- Helping ensure advice documentation is accurate, compliant and client-friendly
- Contributing ideas that improve efficiency and client outcomes
About You
We're less concerned about ticking every box and more interested in finding someone who is motivated, capable and eager to grow.
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving problems, developing strategies, working closely with advisers and continuously building your technical knowledge.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience in a paraplanning, client services or financial planning support role
- Robust attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- A genuine interest in financial advice and strategy
- The ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative, team-first approach
- Experience using Xplan (preferred but not essential)
- Relevant financial planning qualifications, or progress towards completing them
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys learning, takes pride in producing quality work and wants to be part of a team that is continuing to grow, improve and challenge itself.
In return, you'll join a business that is committed to your development through clear KPIs, regular feedback and structured development plans designed to help you continue building your skills and career.
The Opportunity
Whether you're an experienced Paraplanner looking for a fresh challenge or someone ready to take the next step in your career, this is an opportunity to join a growing business with a strong team, exciting plans for the future, and plenty of room to develop.
If you're looking for a role that offers variety, technical challenge, career growth and a great group of people to work with, we'd love to hear from you.
