What You’ll Be Doing

- Building and nurturing relationships with decorative trade painters, contractors, builders, and end users

- Providing expert advice on decorative paint systems, coatings, colour selection, surface preparation, and application techniques

- Identifying opportunities to grow sales and expand our decorative coatings customer base

- Conducting regular customer visits and maintaining ongoing contact with key trade partners

- Promoting new products, services, and coating solutions to customers

- Responding to customer enquiries and providing tailored recommendations for residential and commercial projects

- Preparing quotations and following up on sales opportunities

- Processing orders and ensuring a seamless customer experience

- Using colour‑matching technology and tinting equipment to deliver accurate colour solutions

- Supporting the showroom by creating an engaging and qualified customer environment

- Working closely with store and warehouse teams to ensure customers receive outstanding service

- Assisting with stock management, merchandising, and inventory control as required





- Handling customer concerns professionally and providing practical solutions

- Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends, products, and decorative coating technologies

- Following all Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures

What You’ll Bring

- Experience within the decorative paint, coatings, painting, hardware, building, or related industry

- Strong knowledge of decorative paint products, coatings systems, colour selection, and application methods

- A proven ability to build and maintain relationships with trade customers and end users

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

- A customer‑focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service

- Strong sales and business development capabilities

- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes

- A proactive, self‑motivated, and professional attitude

- Confidence using technology, colour‑matching systems, and point‑of‑sale software

- A current driver's licence (essential)

- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
