We are seeking a warm, approachable, and proactive Rheumatologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team at Brisbane Specialist Group in Sunnybank and Greenslopes.

This chance is ideal for a specialist who values collaboration, continuity of care, and building long‑term patient relationships within a well‑supported private practice environment. You will work closely with fellow specialists and an experienced administrative team to ensure seamless daily operations and high‑quality patient care.

Our clinic is known for its strong GP referral network, diverse community patient base, and collaborative intra‑referral model, allowing you to establish a steady and sustainable practice from commencement, particularly with increasing demand for rheumatology services.

This role is offered on a flexible sessional basis (part‑time or selected consulting days), making it well suited to a specialist seeking stability, professional autonomy,



and work‑life balance within a collegial and well‑organised practice setting.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Rheumatology, or equivalent
- Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated clinical experience in rheumatology, including management of inflammatory arthritis, autoimmune conditions, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders
- Strong commitment to patient‑centred care, particularly in managing long‑term and complex conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with patients and referring GPs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to coordinated and efficient patient care
- Well‑organised with strong clinical governance and documentation standards
- Interest in establishing or growing a private practice within a supportive, referral‑rich environment
