ATG Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our NSW team. Working alongside experienced Estimators, Project Managers and Construction Professionals, you'll play a key role in preparing competitive tenders and supporting our pre-construction process across a diverse range of projects.

About the Role

Reporting to the NSW Pre-Construction Manager and working across a number of sectors, you'll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders from concept through to submission.

You'll work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams to deliver high-quality estimates while identifying opportunities, managing project risks and helping secure recent work for the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial construction projects.

- Review drawings, specifications and other tender documentation to identify project requirements.

- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.

- Build and maintain BOQ's and estimate take-offs.

- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors throughout the tender process.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions where appropriate.

- Maintain accurate pricing databases and tender documentation.

- Support tender handovers to project delivery teams following successful bids.





- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and industry stakeholders.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- 3-5 years' experience in an estimating role

- Exposure to commercial fit-out, refurbishment and/or construction projects

- A qualification or current studies in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering or relevant industry experience.

- Strong numerical and analytical skills.

- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- High IT literacy and experience using Cost X desirable.
