The role
Our Brisbane office has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled Corporate Services Mailroom Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide mail room and administration support to our Brisbane office. The working days for this role will be Monday - Friday with the hours being 9.00 am - 4.00 pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter who has experience in a similar mail room or administration role. You will have exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels and enjoy working in a professional services environment.
The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:
Responsibilities
- Provide mailroom support to the Brisbane office, including preparation of mail for delivery, delivering and collecting mail from each floor, processing unclaimed mail and maintaining accurate courier records
- Process invoices and provide assistance to finance team with cheque signing duties and attending the bank
- Support offboarding and onboarding processes
- Prepare and provide monthly corporate services reports to the national Manager
- Ensure all recycling bins are collected on fortnightly basis
Requirements
- Previous administration or mail room experience or the desire to learn these skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy with a good knowledge of the Microsoft suite of packages
- Excellent communication skills and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative and maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility around working hours when required
This role does require manual handling and the lifting of boxes.
