Position Overview

As Assistant Manager at our Bayside store, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high-quality service delivery. You'll play a hands-on role in coordinating workflow, supporting technicians, and maintaining a solid focus on customer satisfaction.

You'll work closely with the team to troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and ensure jobs are completed to a high standard. Alongside operational responsibilities, you'll help lead, motivate, and develop the team to achieve performance targets and deliver a great customer experience.





This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional ready to step into a leadership role or further develop their management career.

Success Profile

- Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive
- Proven background in managing a team of Technicians
- Have an solid understanding of the workflow of a busy workshop
- Motivation and leadership skills to achieve results
- Have the ability to meet budgets and deadlines
- Ability to handle pressure and busy work environment
- Effective communication and organisational skills
- A broad range of mechanical/tyre knowledge across a range of vehicle brands and types
