POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking Project Engineers to join our Sydney team, supporting the delivery of a new hyperscale data centre project in Erskine Park. This landmark development represents a major milestone for Hickory in NSW and forms part of our growing portfolio of large-scale, technically complex and services-intensive projects. Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors, you will play a key role in planning, coordination, procurement, design management, quality assurance and programme delivery, helping to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support Site Delivery: Assist in the delivery of large-scale commercial, services-intensive and data centre projects, ensuring works are coordinated safely, efficiently and to programme.
- Assist with Planning and Coordination: Support project planning, programming, procurement and trade sequencing to achieve key milestones.
- Manage Technical Information: Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation, assisting with RFIs, design coordination and issue resolution.
- Coordinate Trades and Interfaces: Work closely with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure works are effectively coordinated and delivered.
- Support Contract Administration: Assist with procurement tracking, variations, progress claims, subcontractor administration and project reporting.
- Maintain Project Records: Ensure accurate project documentation, registers, site records and reporting are maintained.
- Champion Quality: Support quality assurance processes, inspections and compliance with project requirements and specifications.
- Drive Commissioning and Close-Out: Assist with testing, commissioning, defects management and project handover activities,



particularly on services-intensive and data centre projects.
- Keep Safety Front of Mind: Support the implementation of site safety requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
- Identify and Escalate Risk: Proactively identify project risks and assist in developing practical solutions to maintain project performance.
- Support Stakeholder Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
- Track Progress and Productivity: Monitor project progress, procurement status and key deliverables to support successful project outcomes.
- Communicate Clearly:Keep site and project stakeholders informed by communicating progress, priorities, technical issues, inspections and actions in a clear, timely and professional way.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

- Bachelor of Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience within the commercial construction industry, ideally across large-scale, services-intensive or data centre projects.
- Sound understanding of construction methodologies, site documentation, procurement processes, contract administration and project sequencing.
- Exposure to complex building services, commissioning and stakeholder coordination on technically challenging projects.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to contribute positively to a collaborative project environment.
