Whilst studying a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical working with Peabody Energy over 4 years, you’ll have the prospect to work on:
- General maintenance on mining machinery/equipment/site
- Perform planned maintenance and breakdown repairs of diesel mining equipment
- Statutory maintenance compliance of equipment, maintenance scheduled and reports
- Service and repair existing mining equipment
- Assist in general duties that are within the limits of the skills, competence, and ability of an apprentice.

- You’re reliable and ready to give your best each day.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Enjoy maintaining physical fitness.
- Ability to attend 8-week TAFE course commencing January 2027
Must-haves
- Current drivers licence (provisional or above)
- White Card
- Willingness to undergo a Coal Board Order 45 Medical, Functional, and Respirator Fit Test
