We are looking for an experienced and proactive Work Health & Safety (WH&S;) Officer to join our team based in Maryborough, QLD.

About the Role

Reporting directly to management, you will be responsible for leading and promoting a robust safety culture across our operations. This hands-on role will see you working closely with site teams to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.




- Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), safety documentation and registers.
- Investigate incidents, hazards and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver site safety inductions and toolbox talks.
- Assist with contractor and employee compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate WHS records and reporting.
- Support management in achieving continuous safety improvements.
- Promote a positive safety culture across all worksites.
