We are seeking a highly experienced carpenter to join our team on high-end architectural residential projects on the South Coast of NSW.
This role is suited to an experienced carpenter or a builder with a strong understanding of residential construction across all stages of a build. We are looking for someone confident interpreting plans, working proactively onsite, problem solving efficiently, and delivering high-quality workmanship with minimal supervision.
This Position Would Suit:
- An experienced subcontract carpenter looking for consistent subcontract work
- A qualified builder looking for hands-on carpentry work and is capable of assisting in a leading hand / supervisor role
- A experienced carpenter/ or builder who is looking for stable full-time employment
About the Role
You will be involved in all stages of construction on architecturally designed homes, including for example:
- Set-out and framing
- Complex roof carpentry
- Structural carpentry
- External cladding and detailing
- Fix out and finish carpentry
- Formwork
- General onsite coordination and problem solving
- Working alongside other trades
Essential Requirements
- Extensive residential carpentry and building experience
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
- Thorough understanding of how to build a new home from start to finish
- Ability to work unsupervised and maintain high-quality workmanship
- Robust attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- White Card required
- Own tools and transport
