With operations across Recent South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, we're entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking for an exceptional General Manager to help take us to the next level.

We're looking for someone who thrives on building teams, improving systems, solving problems and delivering exceptional service to clients across Australia.

You’ll work directly with the owner to drive operational excellence while building the leadership team that supports our continued expansion.

About the Role

As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business nationally.

You will lead our operations managers and field teams while ensuring every depot, contract and customer is operating at the highest standard.

- Leading all national operations across multiple states
- Managing and mentoring Operations Managers and administration teams
- Overseeing scheduling, logistics and workforce planning
- Driving profitability, productivity and operational efficiency
- Building systems, processes and KPIs across the business
- Managing large commercial and government contracts
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and client retention
- Reviewing financial performance, budgets and reporting
- Recruiting, developing and retaining high‑performing staff
- Working closely with sales to ensure smooth project delivery




- Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards
- Identifying opportunities for growth, innovation and continuous improvement

About You

You're an experienced leader who enjoys taking ownership.

You know how to lead people, solve problems quickly and build businesses that run efficiently.

You'll ideally have:

- 5+ years' experience in senior operations or general management
- Experience managing multiple locations or branches
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen
- Experience in transport, logistics, construction, civil, facilities management, industrial services or commercial cleaning (highly regarded)
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills
- A hands‑on leadership style
- Confidence making decisions under pressure
- A continuous improvement mindset
