We're looking for a committed and enthusiastic Full-time Groundskeeper to join our Palm Lake Resort Waterford team and help keep our resort grounds in pristine condition.

This is a full-time role, working 38 hours per week on a Monday to Friday roster in a hands‑on capacity to maintain our gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing. Your work will be essential to ensuring the resort grounds are presented to a high standard for our residents and visitors year‑round.

Responsibilities

- Mowing, edging & whipper snipping, hedge & tree trimming;
- Control weeds and pests through the application of herbicides;
- Raking and blowing leaves, pruning and disposing of dying vegetation;
- Planting, mulching, and maintaining flowers and shrubs, including watering and maintenance of irrigation systems;
- Oversee the outdoor presentation of all facilities, including BBQ & pool maintenance;
- Ensure all mechanical equipment and tools are kept in good working order.

To excel in this role, you will bring:

- Relevant gardening experience in a similar role;
- Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous;
- ACDC chemical licence is advantageous.
- Ability to use equipment such as push mower, ride on mower, hedge trimmer, whipper snipper and blower
- Possess the physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying.
- Initiative & the ability to work with limited supervision.
