Accredited Practising Dietitian – Paediatric & Disability Nutrition

Help children and people with disability thrive through delivering compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care.

We're a small, friendly Therapy Team where clinicians know and support one another. If you're looking for meaningful work, genuine flexibility and opportunities to grow your clinical skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Join an experienced multidisciplinary team where you'll receive regular supervision, build your expertise and make a genuine difference in the lives of children, families and people with disability every day.

At Jericho Road, we seek to reach out with the love of God to people who, without our support, would be isolated. We aim to fill the gaps, see the unseen and give voice to the unheard. Our work is founded on seeking justice, showing mercy and making Jesus known.

Why You'll Love This Role

No two days are the same.

Work predominantly in the community across homes, schools, preschools and disability services while supporting children and people with disability to achieve their nutrition and wellbeing goals. You'll work closely with children, families, carers and support teams to deliver practical, family-centred, evidence-based nutrition care that supports participation in everyday life.

As part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll be encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and continue developing your clinical skills.

A Message from Our Therapy Manager

"One of the things I value most about our team is how we support each other. We share ideas,

celebrate the wins and genuinely enjoy working together. Whether you're experienced in disability or looking to grow into this area, you'll be valued, you'll be encouraged, supported and given opportunities to develop. We'd love to welcome you to the team." – Charity Spalding, Jericho Road Therapy Manager.

Current to Disability?

That's okay.

Previous experience in the disability or NDIS sector is welcomed, but it's not essential.

If you have strong clinical foundations and a passion for supporting children and families, we'll provide the supervision, mentoring and encouragement to help you build your confidence and develop your skills in paediatric and disability nutrition.

Our Values

Humility, Integrity & Truth, Compassion and Justice.

These values guide the way we care for the people we support and the way we work together as a team.

We'd Love to Hear from You If You Have

- Accredited Practicing Dietitian (or provisional APD) status, with a commitment to maintaining APD accreditation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A current driver's licence, access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel around metropolitan Sydney
- Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check
- A genuine passion for helping children, families and people with a disability achieve their goals

At Jericho Road, we journey alongside children, families and people with a disability, delivering practical, person-centred care that empowers people to thrive.
