Help Shape a New Vision for Early Childhood Education
This is more than a Lead Educator role — help shape a new vision for early childhood grounded in Bush Kindy, holistic learning and meaningful relationships.
This is a rare opportunity to join the very first Little Bush Village — a newly reimagined early learning centre grounded in calm childhoods, meaningful relationships, Bush Kindy principles and nature-led learning.
Located in Paddington, our centre is undergoing a significant transformation designed to create warm, connected and inspiring environments for children, families and educators.
Founded by experienced educator and leader Elizabeth Burnett, Little Bush Village is evolving into a Child Caring Collective — bringing together educators, families and specialists to create environments where children truly thrive.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator who can inspire, mentor and guide educators while creating meaningful learning experiences that support children to feel confident, connected and capable.
This is an opportunity to be part of something genuinely different — helping shape the culture, practice and future direction of a centre built on relationships, wellbeing and intentional early learning.
About Little Bush Village
Our approach is inspired by Bush Kindy philosophy and holistic early childhood education, with a strong focus on outdoor learning, creativity, emotional wellbeing, connection and child-led exploration.
We believe children thrive when their emotional, social, physical and cognitive development are nurtured together through meaningful relationships, play and connection with the natural world.
Children are encouraged to explore, create, take safe risks and develop confidence through meaningful play and connection with nature.
We see families as an essential part of our community and place strong importance on creating genuine, respectful and lasting relationships where children, parents and educators feel supported, connected and known.
Our environments are intentionally designed to feel calm, welcoming and inspiring — supporting both children and educators to thrive each day.
Professional Growth & Educational Excellence
Little Bush Village works alongside Little Village Education Academy — a Registered Training Organisation specialising in the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Together, the organisations share a strong commitment to high-quality practice, professional learning and raising standards across the Early Childhood sector.
This creates a unique environment where educators are supported through ongoing mentoring, leadership development and access to contemporary industry knowledge and best practice.
Our educators benefit from:
- Ongoing mentoring and professional support
- Access to current industry best practice and training
- A culture focused on reflection, growth and continuous improvement
- Opportunities to grow within a developing Child Caring Collective
We believe exceptional centres are built by knowledgeable, reflective and inspired educators — and we are committed to creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow long term.
