We're looking for an experienced Project Architect or Associate to join a highly respected architecture practice in a newly created Quality Assurance role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, solving technical challenges, and helping project teams deliver exceptional documentation—without compromising great design.
This isn't a traditional QA role. You'll work closely with project teams to review documentation, resolve technical issues, and ensure projects are coordinated, buildable, and beautifully detailed. Rather than simply identifying problems, you'll be empowered to help solve them.
Quality Assurance (QA) Architect
Brisbane | Full-Time
Working across a diverse range of projects, you'll become the technical go-to person within the studio, supporting architects throughout the documentation process and helping establish consistent quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing architectural documentation to ensure it is accurate, coordinated and ready for construction.
- Working alongside project teams to resolve technical and detailing challenges.
- Using your Revit expertise to update drawings where required, rather than simply providing mark-ups.
- Developing QA processes, documentation standards and project checklists across the practice.
- Helping define project stage deliverables and ensuring documentation is complete before progressing.
- Mentoring and supporting architects,
sharing technical knowledge and improving documentation quality across the team.
- Reviewing consultant documentation and identifying opportunities for smarter, more practical or cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborating with engineers and consultants to ensure technical requirements support, rather than compromise, the architectural design.
- Contributing to project meetings and providing practical advice throughout project delivery.
About You
You'll be an experienced Project Architect with excellent technical documentation skills and a genuine passion for quality architecture.
You’ll also bring:
- Strong Revit skills and confidence working within project models.
- A thorough understanding of construction detailing and documentation.
- The ability to balance compliance, functionality and buildability while maintaining the integrity of the design.
- Confidence reviewing consultant information and identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes.
- A collaborative approach and a natural desire to mentor and support others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
