We are Australian owned group of businesses with a need for a Logistics Manager to oversee our variety of logistical challenges delivering quality products across Australia and New Zealand. Due to continued growth, we are building a dedicated logistics team and are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join us heading up this team.

About the role

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Logistics Manager to join and lead our newly created logistics team.

This is fast-paced group of businesses servicing retail, B2B and B2C environments, ideal for someone who enjoys solving logistical problems across a wide range of products and customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist project teams in developing more automated last mile delivery systems and processes
- Cater services for heavy and bulky items
- Chain of responsibility oversight
- Sourcing of delivery partners for our varied requirements
- Negotiating contracts with delivery partners
- WH&S; requirements from our logistics partners




- Building a team and developing people
- Building strong knowledge of products and operations as pertaining to our logistics requirements
- Audit of existing logistical arrangements
- Bring standardisation to our group of businesses in the logistics space

About you:

- Demonstrated ability to manage a team
- Minimum 2 years previous logistics management role
- Demonstrated Previous contract negotiation in logistics setting
- Clear understanding of laws pertaining to logistics in Australia
- Able to work independently
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Stable full-time role in growing group
