About the role

We are looking for an experienced Boilermaker to join our workshop team based in Lawnton, QLD.

Working within our plant team, you will play a key role in the fabrication, repair and maintenance of the specialised equipment that supports our projects across Australia. This is a hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys working with heavy equipment, takes pride in quality workmanship and values working as part of a close‑knit team.

- Fabricate, repair and maintain heavy plant, drilling, piling and foundation equipment
- Carry out heavy fabrication and welding to a high standard
- Perform maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures
- Work closely with mechanics, plant personnel and operators to ensure equipment is maintained and available for projects
- Identify maintenance issues and recommend practical solutions
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to Keller's strong safety culture

About you





We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and enjoys working in a collaborative workshop environment.

To be successful, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
- Experience with heavy fabrication, welding and structural steel repairs
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Sound mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn about specialised geotechnical equipment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A commitment to working safely and promoting a zero-harm culture
- Experience working on heavy mobile plant, cranes, drilling or piling equipment will be highly regarded
