Key Responsabilities
Support the O&M; team in the development and implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems within the Company.
- Develop and maintain HSE documentation, systems and templates (procedures, forms, inductions, incident workflow), in accordance with the corporate HSE policies and procedures
- Identify, develop and conduct related training
- Quality management and Quality System training
- Take part in the yearly safety audits to identify workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, working practices or working conditions and implement the subsequent the corrective actions
- Assist incident reporting through data entry, evidence collection and tracking corrective actions
- Participate in site visits to support safety engagement, observations and implementation of system improvements
- Maintain and analyse records of workplace injuries,
illness and absence to identify areas of concern
- Educate and train the O&M; team's workforce on HSE policies and standards
- Support the O&M; Manager in continuous improvement initiatives and promoting a proactive safety culture across O&M; team
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Dipolma in OHS
- Engineering Degree is valuable
- Certification IV WHS or equivalent
- 1-2 Years experience, (preferrably in solar, electrical utilites or industrial O&M; envionments)
- Familairty with WHS Legislation and SafeWork NSW and VIC requirements
- Knowledge & Understanding of HV/LV electrical safety systems, PTW Systems, and SWMS/JSA documentation.
