We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Paint & Panel Workshop Foreman to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy repair facility. The successful candidate will lead a team of panel beaters, spray painters, and apprentices, ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all paint and panel workshop activities.
Manage workflow, job allocation, and production schedules.
Monitor repair quality and ensure manufacturer and industry standards are met.
Support and mentor panel beaters, spray painters, and apprentices.
Conduct final quality inspections before vehicle delivery.
Liaise with estimators, parts suppliers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain workshop safety, housekeeping, and compliance requirements.
Monitor productivity, efficiency, and turnaround times.
Skills & Experience
Trade qualification in Panel Beating, Automotive Refinishing, or a related field.
Previous experience in a foreman, supervisor, or leading-hand role within a collision repair workplace.
Strong knowledge of paint and panel repair processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet production deadlines.
Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Current driver's licence.
