We are seeking a highly motivated and GP EXPERIENCED Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to join our busy team at the New Farm Medical Centre Pty Ltd in New Farm, Queensland. This is a casual Practice Nurse position offering 2–3 days per week, with the opportunity for additional shifts as required. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to progress to a permanent part-time or full time position in the future. You will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring, Care Plans and CMAs
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by our medical practitioners
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised patient care plans
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
Assisting in minor procedures and infusions.
Managing treatment room with the team of nurses supported by the clinical nurse lead.
Undertaking professional development activities to maintain and enhance your nursing skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
Current registration as Registered or Enrolled nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a general practice (preferred)
or aged care with experience in completing comprehensive medical assessment (advantageous)
Strong clinical skills and knowledge, with the ability to prioritise patient needs and provide high-quality care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Proficient in the use of medical software and technology to support patient care, Best Practice experience is an advantage.
