About Us?

The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.

The Organisational Development Team’s primary focus is to assist IUIH meet its strategic objective of growing and developing a competent and enabled health workforce. IUIH continues to experience significant workforce growth, necessitating a focus on development, management and implementation of frameworks and programs to: increase Indigenous workforce participation, build required workforce skill sets, train existing staff to maximise opportunities for business development and quality of care, build workforce pathways, and to create and nurture an innovative, inclusive, reflective and respectful environment built on Aboriginal Ways.

About the Role?

This deadly program is all about supporting Mob in their career journey, providing an opportunity to learn and gain skills for the workplace.

About You?

- Current Photo ID (Drivers Licence, Passport, Proof of Age Card)
- Current Criminal History Check.
- Current Working with Children’s Check (Qld Blue Card).
- Current Disability Worker Screening Check (Qld Yellow Card).

Desirable, but not mandatory:

- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
