To support the installation of our new manufacturing capability we are looking for a maintenance fitter to join our team and be a part of our exciting journey you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our state-of-the-art machinery, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
What you'll be doing
- Performing routine maintenance and inspection of machinery and equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing appropriate repair solutions
- Supporting the installation of our new facility
- Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment history
- Collaborating with the production team to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workplace
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience as a Maintenance Fitter with a strong understanding of Pneumatics in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong technical expertise in the maintenance, repair of mechanical equipment and machinery in a hands on environment.
- Welding knowledge and experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to safety and a strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
