Penrith Podiatry Foot and Ankle Clinic – Penrith NSW

We're looking for a high-quality receptionist to join our team at Penrith Podiatry Foot & Ankle Clinic.

This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and takes pride in running a front desk properly. You won't be micromanaged, but you will be expected to think, take ownership, and keep things running smoothly.

We're a busy, clinically focused practice with a strong reputation. Patients often come to us after failed treatment elsewhere, so the standard of care, communication, and overall experience matters.

You’ll be working alongside an experienced receptionist in a structured setup, with support from a close-knit team across multiple clinic locations.

The role

- Welcoming patients and maintaining a calm, professional front desk
- Managing phones, enquiries, and appointment bookings
- Coordinating multiple practitioner diaries (Cliniko)
- Ensuring patient details and documentation are accurate and up to date
- Processing payments (HICAPS, Medicare, DVA)
- Handling Medicare via Medipass
- General admin (scanning, filing, correspondence)
- Basic sterilisation and instrument handling




- Monitoring and ordering clinic and admin supplies

What we're looking for

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner
- Able to manage multiple tasks without losing structure
- Comfortable with systems and learning quickly
- Reliable, consistent, and accountable
- Previous medical or allied health reception experience
- Familiarity with HICAPS, Medicare, or Cliniko.

- Minimum of 2 years medical or allied health reception experience is required
- Processing Workers Compensation claims and NDIS

Hours

Flexibility to cover leave and sick days is required.

A driver's licence and car are required, as there may be occasional travel between our Penrith and Glenmore Park clinics.

This role suits someone who values structure, takes ownership, and thrives in a well-run, professional setting. The position will commence on a casual basis, with a pathway to permanency following a successful trial period.
