Cadence Newcastle is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to develop and maintain the C++ code base for advanced EDA tools. You will work on geometry processing and algorithmic challenges in a globally distributed team, contributing to robust, scalable software for sub-20nm IC design.

The role requires a PhD or MSc with 4+ years of relevant experience, solid math background, and proficiency in C++ (C++14/17). Linux/Unix experience and QT are a plus; excellent communication is essential.
