Diesel Fitter | HD Fitter | HD Mechanic

We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter / HD Fitter / HD Mechanic to join our growing Gladstone-based team. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent local work, modern equipment, and a supportive crew that understands life outside of work matters.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Diagnosing, fault-finding, and repairing heavy-duty diesel equipment
- Working on trucks, transport vehicles, cranes, generators, EWP’s, earthmoving machinery, light vehicles, and more
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- On-site repairs and breakdown assistance within the local area
- Completing job documentation accurately and efficiently
- Working safely and collaboratively with a skilled team

What We’re Looking For

- Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, or related trade
- Experience as a Diesel Fitter / HD Fitter / HD Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and take pride in your work
- A safety-first mindset
- Current driver’s licence
- Availability for a 5-week rotating on-call roster
