Vaxxas is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Technician to support the day-to-day operation of our GMP-regulated QC laboratory. Working closely with QC Analysts, you will play a key role in maintaining laboratory readiness, coordinating equipment and inventory management, conducting incoming goods sampling, performing utilities sampling, and managing external testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day QC laboratory operations in a GMP environment.
- Manage equipment calibrations, laboratory inventory and consumable stock levels.
- Conduct incoming goods sampling, inspection, testing and disposition activities.
- Perform utilities sampling, environmental monitoring and related QC activities.
- Coordinate external testing and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Maintain GMP, 5S and housekeeping standards across the laboratory.
- Assist with reporting, continuous improvement initiatives and general laboratory support.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualification in Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in a laboratory environment, ideally within a GMP-regulated industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
