Norship is currently seeking Shipwrights/ Boat Builders for current and upcoming Defence & Commercial maritime work in Cairns.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, you will have experience working within the marine, shipbuilding, boatbuilding or heavy industrial sectors and exposure to vessel maintenance, repair, construction or refurbishment projects. You will be safety-focused,



take pride in producing quality workmanship and be available to commence work in the coming weeks.

Successful candidates will have (or the ability to obtain):

- Work Safely at Heights Certificate
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces Certificate
- Relevant Trade Certificate (Shipwright, Boat Builder or equivalent)
- Construction Induction White Card
- Previous experience working on Defence, commercial or passenger vessels.
- Experience with timber, composite, fibreglass, aluminium or steel vessel repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Solid commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Successful candidates willundergo and pass drug & alcohol screening.
