Our client is seeking a trade qualified Auto Electrician to join their workshop team in Capalaba, to contribute to the electrical fit-out of custom vehicle tray and canopy builds. This role may also suit someone without a trade qualification but has exceptional experience in the auto electrical field.

In this role, you will work across a variety of aluminium and steel body projects, installing and maintaining electrical systems, accessories and components. You will also assist with fault diagnosis, warranty work and the development of electrical layouts for recent vehicle models.

This is an permanent and ongoing position after a short Labour Hire trial period.

About the role

- Complete electrical installations and accessory fit-outs on new vehicle builds;
- Wire, test and commission automotive electrical systems and components;
- Investigate electrical faults and carry out repairs in the workshop and at customer sites.
- Support warranty and after-sales repair work as required;
- Assist with electrical planning for new vehicle models, including the placement of cameras,



sonar equipment and sensors;
- Provide practical technical guidance to agents and resellers;
- Work with the stores team to monitor the availability of electrical parts and components;
- Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing practices within the workshop.

What We Are Looking For

- Automotive Electrical trade qualification- Preferred;
- Strong experience in automotive electrical installation, diagnosis and repair.
- Confidence reading and working from electrical and electronic schematics.
- A practical, accurate and solutions-focused approach to your work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable, organised and motivated, with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
