Lawson Elliott Recruitment is partnering with a successful multi-entity business that is a specialist within its industry. We are seeking a motivated Finance Officer to join their growing finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have broad range of responsibilities include:
- End-to-end accounts payable, including invoice processing, approvals, payment runs and supplier reconciliations
- Accounts receivable, including invoicing, receipting, collections and debtor management
- Bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations, including journals and intercompany transactions
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the integrity of financial data
- Monitoring cash flow and reporting on upcoming payments and outstanding receivables
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers while responding to account enquiries
- Assisting with month-end processes and financial reporting
- Identifying and supporting continuous process improvements across the finance function
- Providing ad hoc finance and administration support as required
Ideal candidate for this role:
- 3+ years' experience as a Finance Officer or in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations
- A proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Solid attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- A high level of ownership, accountability and problem-solving ability
- Experience using accounting software
