About the Role – Field Operator
MAXAM Australia is seeking a Field Operator to join our well-established blasting crew based at Ebenezer, QLD.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Field Operator plays a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality blasting operations. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the safe and efficient delivery of day-to-day blasting services
Loading and stemming of drill holes
Handling and use of explosives in accordance with procedures and legislation
Maintaining high standards of safety, environmental compliance, and housekeeping
Working collaboratively as part of a site-based blast crew
Adhering to all company, site, and regulatory requirements

Licences & Requirements
Ideally, you will hold or be willing to obtain:
Open Manual Driver’s Licence (essential)
Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants must be able to:
Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
Meet all ongoing compliance and clearance requirements
