Our client, a Federal Government agency based in Brisbane, QLD, that supports a better life for Australians with a significant and permanent disability, requires the services of a Salesforce Infrastructure Engineer for a 12 + 12 month contract.
Duties of the Salesforce Infrastructure Engineer:
- Develop and maintain Salesforce environment plans.
- Execute hands‑on critical and complex Salesforce administration tasks to support releases, CI/CD deployment, and new project and setting changes.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce issues.
- Manage and coordinate Salesforce deployments across lower and production environments using approved release and change management.
- Manage support tickets with Salesforce & maintain platform security.
- Seek out automation opportunities for improved management of the Salesforce landscape.
- Ensure documentation on processes, policies, and configuration is developed and maintained.
- Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements.
Skills and Experience - Salesforce Infrastructure Engineer:
- Certified Salesforce Administrator with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem including administration, configuration, and platform support.
- Salesforce product knowledge, and a strong understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules).
- Experience with Salesforce integration and Connected applications including API based integration.
- Proven experience supporting Salesforce deployments and release management activities.
- ITIL Foundation Certification and experience.
