YOUR RESONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an experienced truck driver to join our team. The successful applicant must have minimum HR truck driving qualifications and forklift license, be a great team worker, and liaise with customers with a friendly and professional attitude.

The Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe, effective, and productive loading, transportation and unloading of construction materials from the Scaffolding Yard to a variety of work sites and regions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Loading/unloading and efficient transport of construction materials safety from yard to work sites
- Understanding of load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines




- Ensuring truck delivery routes are effectively planned to accommodate scheduled delivery times and refuelling requirements
- Maintain a duty of care in regard to the safety and well-being of all persons on site, including tradespeople and the public.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays
- Completion of all paperwork on time and in full
- Maintaining cleanliness of allocated equipment

EXPERIENCE:

Truck driving: Minimum 2 years (required)

Highly regarded:

Scaffold, steel or construction material deliveries

Delivering to commercial construction sites

Experience securing loads using chains, straps and load restraint systems

Experience operating forklifts and Moffett equipment in active work environments

A basic scaffolding ticket.

LICENCES/CERTIFICATIONS:

HR License (required)

Construction Industry White Card (to be carried at all times on shift)

Current Moffett ticket preferred. Candidates with demonstrated forklift experience willing to obtain a Moffett ticket may be considered.
