Bidfood is recognised as one of the country’s leading distributors to the industry. A fulltime chance exists for an adaptable team player to join our Sales team at our foodservice branch located in Mackay.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Branch Manager this position is responsible for providing over the phone customer service and provide a high level of customer service to external customers in addition to performing other administrative tasks, reports and quality assurance tasks and audits

Duties:

- Running sales reports and amending and updating customer price files.
- Assist key stake holders with reports and enquiries
- Report sales data from promotional activities
- Document preparation, filing, emails, reports.
- Facilitate smooth processing of sales enquiries.
- Provide general administrative tasks with an emphasis on accuracy as required.
- Respond to queries via telephone, in person and by email in a professional and timely manner.

Skills and Experience:

- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel a large requirement
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Success in managing multiple and diverse tasks
- Offer a high level of customer service to all stake holders
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Sales experience and an understanding of the foodservice industry would be an advantage.
