Senior Program Manager – International Development Transition

Lead a complex international development program transition, coordinating agreements, grants, financial systems and stakeholder change activities. This senior contract role offers the prospect to deliver a whole-of-program roadmap supporting major policy, procurement and funding reforms across a significant Pacific development program.

Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 12 months, with a possible 12-month extension
Security Clearance Requirement: Current NV1 clearance required
Closing Date: 5.00pm, 11 August 2026

Essential Tasks

- Develop and manage the implementation plan and roadmap for the program transition.
- Coordinate workstreams, monitor progress and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Review and transition agreements, grants and funding arrangements into new frameworks.
- Support the transition to SAP and related financial systems, including staff training.

Key Criteria





- Senior program management experience across complex, multi-stream initiatives.
- Strong procurement, contracting, grants and agreement-management expertise.
- Proven stakeholder engagement, change management and executive reporting skills.
- Experience with SAP, SAP GUI, Power BI or comparable government financial systems.
