McArdles Corporation Pty Ltd is seeking reliable and professional Cleaning Service Operators to support a major mining client at the Cadia mine site.
Important: This is not a FIFO position. Flights, accommodation and relocation assistance are not provided. Applicants must live in Orange or the surrounding Central West region and be able to travel to and from the mine site each day.
Mine Site Cleaners Wanted – Orange, NSW
About the Role
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning offices, amenities and operational facilities
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, crib rooms and shared areas
- General and detailed cleaning
- Waste removal
- Restocking consumables
- Periodic deep cleaning and project-based work
- Maintaining strict hygiene, safety and presentation standards
This position suits someone who takes pride in their work and performs well in a structured, safety-focused environment.
Location and Roster
- Based in Orange, NSW
- Work conducted at the Cadia mine site
- Rotational roster, including 7 days on / 7 days off
- Early starts, generally between 4:00 am and 5:00 am
- Daily travel to and from the mine site is required
- No FIFO or fly-in/fly-out arrangements are available
What We’re Looking For
Applicants must:
- Be based in Orange or within practical daily travelling distance
- Be available to work a rotating roster, including 7/7
- Hold a current manual driver’s licence
- Have a reliable personal vehicle
- Be punctual, dependable and professionally presented
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Have strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Be physically capable of completing mine site cleaning duties
Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential for applicants with the right attitude and work ethic.
Mine Site Compliance
Successful applicants must be able to:
- Maintain a 0.00 blood alcohol reading while working
- Pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug and alcohol testing
- Complete a pre-employment medical and physical assessment
- Meet all mine site induction, safety and compliance requirements
