Position

Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, management insights and decision support across the organisation and affiliated foundations. The role is responsible for month-end reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, audit preparation, compliance reporting and ongoing improvements to financial processes and systems.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports and analysis
- Managing month-end close activities, reconciliations and financial controls
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles
- Providing insights and analysis to assist business decision-making
- Coordinating audit preparation and statutory compliance requirements
- Improving reporting, systems and accounting processes
- Supporting project financial tracking and reporting

Profile





Seeking an experienced Management Accountant who combines strong technical accounting capability with a proactive and collaborative approach. You will bring:

- CA/CPA qualification or equivalent accounting qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in management and financial accounting
- Robust experience with month-end reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confidence partnering with stakeholders across the business
- Experience working in a multi-entity or branch reporting environment
- Strong Excel skills and experience improving financial processes and systems
- Sound knowledge of GST and FBT compliance requirements
- Experience with MYOBor Power BI will be highly regarded.
