The Opportunity We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting chance for a culinary professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and plan menus, forecast ingredient requirements, and manage food and labour costs.
- Ensure consistent quality in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Liaise with management, dietitians, kitchen staff, and service teams regarding food preparation and operational requirements.




- Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance and training to kitchen staff.
- Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes in line with established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training kitchen staff as required.
- Store, preserve, and freeze food items appropriately to maintain quality and minimise waste.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Creative flair and a genuine passion for cooking.
