Hytec Cooling Pty Ltd. is seeking experienced Duct Installers to join our team on a casual basis with an immediate start available. This is a hands-on position based in Sydney NSW 2000, where you'll play a crucial role in the installation and assembly of air conditioning and refrigeration ductwork systems for residential, commercial and industrial clients. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring our clients receive high-quality climate control solutions that meet safety standards and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Install, assemble and fit ductwork systems for air conditioning and refrigeration installations across various project sites
- Measure, cut and shape duct materials to precise specifications according to engineering plans and drawings
- Secure and seal ductwork connections to ensure optimal airflow and system efficiency
- Perform quality checks on completed installations to verify workmanship and compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and supervisors to coordinate installation schedules and ensure project timelines are met
- Transport and handle materials and equipment safely on site
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise during the fitting process

What we are looking for

- Proven experience as a Duct Installer or similar role within air conditioning and refrigeration installation
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong understanding of ductwork materials, sizing and installation best practices




- Competency in using hand and power tools relevant to duct installation work
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where required
- Current white card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour throughout a working day
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Own Transport preferable
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work
