Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly organised Administration Assistant to join our busy Hornsby office. Conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from Hornsby Train Station, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and has excellent computer and administrative skills.
About the Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support across the business, ensuring all documentation is prepared accurately and efficiently while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing quotations, proposals and company documentation.
- Creating, updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and databases.
- Entering and maintaining accurate data across multiple systems.
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls.
- Managing company email enquiries and correspondence.
- Preparing reports, letters and documents.
- Filing, scanning and maintaining electronic records.
- Assisting with scheduling and general office administration.
- Supporting management with administrative tasks as required.
- Maintaining accurate records with a high level of attention to detail.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous administration experience (essential).
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, perform basic formulas, filtering, sorting and data management.
- Excellent typing speed and computer literacy.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional telephone manner.
- Experience within the construction, labour hire or service industry is advantageous but not essential.
