Estimator - Ceiling and Partitions sub-contractor

They work on Data, Centres, Commercial, Hospitals, Apartments projects. Their ceilings and partitions packages can be worth up to $20M.

An exciting opportunity is now available for a confident and motivated individual to join theirteam in the position of Estimator.

The focus of this diverse role will be to manage the tendering, commercial and financial budgets and submissions for all projects under your control. You will set-up, oversee and develop the tendering processes, source quality sub-contractors and suppliers and assist in tender selection.

Key Duties & Responsibilities





- Implement tendering procedures in conjunction with senior management
- Conduct measured take-offs on trade components with tender submissions
- Ensure timely tender submission reviews are carried out for all tenders
- Carry out cost plans on development & meet submission timelines
- Ensure client response time is satisfactory

Experience and skills required

- Minimum of 5 Years estimating experience
- Previous experience estimating ceiling and partitions packages
- Excellent understanding of MS Excel & Word
- Buildsoft, Bid-contender, Aconex and Excel.
- Ability to read constriction drawings
- Friendly "Can do" attitude
- Strong time management and communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven history of estimating projects in-line with budgets, specifications and timelines
- Good understanding of Australian Building Standards
